The MiniMODs Adjustable Front Carrier Block is the first-of-its-kind that can be adjusted to secure different types of bag frames / bags from Brompton as well as third party brands.
The innovative adjustable tab is easily adjusted to the top or bottom position using two stopper screws on the front, so users can conveniently fit different bags on the AFCB. The tab components are designed to remain securely attached, even with vibrations while cycling. The tab locks with a click sound so users know that it is secured.
The design features a clean, minimalist aesthetic - duo oval rings, each supported by a robust arm for added stability - and a central track for the adjustable tab. The AFCB is precision-crafted using full CNC machining for performance.
We are also taking a step forward in offering more sustainable solutions. Made from alloy materials with no plastic components, the MiniMODs AFCB ensures easier recycling. The packaging is a simple cardboard box, free from transparent plastic sheets or adhesives, promoting efficient paper recycling and box reuse. Cyclists can use different bags safely with just one FCB.
We made this after hearing feedback from riders. Our aim is to significantly improve safety and also allow users the convenience and option of using different bags, be it to suit different types of rides, from commuting to leisure to bike touring, or simply to style their bikes with different looks.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE the Adjustable Tab on the AFCB
Caution - The adjustable Tab is made up of four parts, as shown in the photo below, that fit together. Please, be careful when taking apart the parts as the spring and parts are very light and may bounce off.
The Tab can be used facing upwards or downwards, depending on user preference. This is adjusted by rotating the Tab. As you rotate the Tab, the circular part in the middle will either protrude or recede. Please ensure that it does not protrude or recede more than 1mm.
HOW TO INSTALL THE AFCB on My BROMPTON
When installing the AFCB, please loosen the two stopper screws on the front first before removing the Tab.
Then, install the main FCB body on the bike, using the two screws provided and a No. 3 hex key, and ideally, tighten these two screws to torque 4.5Nm. Next, re-insert the tab, adjust the tab to the desired height, and lastly, tighten the two stopper screws for the Tab.

What is the loading capacity of the AFCB?
The MiniMODs Adjustable FCB is made of integrated aluminum alloy and is able to support a weight of 10 kgs.
Will the AFCB Tab fall off?
The FCB tab is secured by two locking screws at the front. If you adjust the height of the FCB tab, be sure to tighten these two locking screws. If they are tightened, it will not fall off. When you insert the bag frame, please ensure it is locked in with the click sound.
What is the adjustable range of the AFCB Tab?
The adjustable range of the tab is within 11 mm.
How can I increase the stability of the bag on the AFCB?
When adjusting the FCB tab, ensure that it is tightly secured against the frame slot and locked in with the click sound.
The AFCB design only has two arms - is this able to support the bag frame? Will the two arms break off?
The unique design has taken this into consideration, and the two arms are made of a sturdy alloy material - Alloy 6061 T6 - and is hence strong enough to support the load.
Is the AFCB compatible with all Bromptons? What about other folding bikes?
The AFCB is compatible with A, C, and P Lines Bromptons, and for the T Line and G Line, you will need an adaptor, which we will provide.
For Dahon, Tern, Freeel, Vello, Legend and Bikcerton bikes, you may make use of the MiniMODs Front Carrier Block adaptor to use the AFCB on these bikes.
